He is heading the Foundation as the President of Eastern Panorama Foundation. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Eastern Panorama Magazine and also a visiting Professor of Assam University, Silchar and North East Police Academy (NEPA), Barapani. He has served as the District Governor of Lions Club International in the year 2003-04 consisting of all the 7 sisters of North East India. Dr. Jhunjhunwala is also a recipient of several National Awards.
